The Rollercaster

A newsletter for parents navigating the highs, lows, and sharp turns of PANDAS, PANS, and other complex kids’ health challenges.

This newsletter is for you if...

✅ ...you’re raising a child with PANDAS, PANS, or another complex health condition, and no one handed you a manual

✅ ...you’re overwhelmed by all the (sometimes contradictory) information online

✅ ...you want to understand the science to help your kids and to be able to explain PANS nuances to your family and friends

✅ ...you believe nutrition and gut health matter, especially when it comes to behavior

✅ ...you’re curious about our family’s journey

👋 I’m Emilia

  • Science communicator and longtime ride operator on this rollercoaster track (2.5 years and counting).

  • Mom of twins, both diagnosed with PANS at the age of 6. Very different kids, very different rides, loads of insights.

  • Together with my husband, I run a Life Science Animation studio, where we turn scientific research into simple language, graphics, and animations. I use these skills and experience daily to understand the biology of PANS and support our kids. Now, maybe yours too.

  • Curiosity and a desire to understand are my key drivers in life. Science helps me feel in control and make decisions, and I want to help you get the same benefits.

Newsletter - what you'll get

This is exactly the kind of newsletter I wish I could have read when we were thrown onto this track: practical, science-based, and positive.

Every two weeks, you’ll receive a fresh issue of The Rollercoaster in your inbox, with information such as:

A panda is perched on a tree branch, surrounded by lush green foliage. The panda appears to be climbing or playing among the branches and leaves, exhibiting its natural behavior in a forest environment.
